All a student has to be, is 16 years of age in order to start. It is much more advantageous to begin the 30 hour online course as soon as possible once the student turns 16!

Online Classroom Instruction
Our classes are taught using the popular web conferencing app ZOOM. Classroom instruction is held Monday through Thursday 6-8 during the school year. A monthly calendar is posted on our website showing the dates and class numbers to be taught. Students may sign in to each class as needed.

Instruction
Our standard driver’s education course includes 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving with our top-notch instructors. For the last 50 years, Nationwide has always picked up students up at home, school, or work for no additional charge.
Classroom Instruction
Nationwide offers the standard 38-hour driver’s education course. This course is the accepted curriculum given by driving schools to satisfy the state’s statutes and includes 30 hours of classroom instruction.

Nationwide Driving School is located at 9 Dale Street in West Hartford Center. We are in a lovely renovated older home that provides a comfortable, relaxed setting for our classroom instruction and office.
